Since the age of five when Khrystia first saw Helena Vlahos on the television show "That's Incredible" she had a glamorous impression of belly dance. Through childhood she studied many types of dance. She continued her love of dance taking college classes in ballet, modern, jazz, and theatrical dance. When in 1998 Khrystia got swept away with the swing craze. In her first year of learning the Lindyhop, Khrystia started teaching and performing at corporate events. After finishing her studies at the University of Arizona in Tucson she moved back to Phoenix where she took her first belly dance classes with Samia. Khrystia continued classes with Samia while also studying Hula and Tahitian dancing with Kaimikahu Hale O' Hula. She started her professional dance career at Sinbad in Tempe where she performed for six years.

Since then Khrystia has performed in over thirty restaurants across the Valley of the Sun. She has continued to please audiences with her graceful fluidity and energetic charisma. Her dancing has been described to be "like silk in water". Currently she performs at Tandoori Times and Cafe Istanbul. You can also see her dancing with Boom Boom Bollywood in addition to Romantasy Cabaret.
