Fall Swap Meet
Mark your calendars for Saturday October 10th from 8:00 a.m.
to 2:30 p.m. for the swap meet and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for the show!!!
Enjoy a day of shopping, workshops, networking with
other dancers and having fun.
The event will be held at the Women's Club of Mesa - 200 N. Macdonald,
Mesa, AZ 85201 (cross streets - University
& Center) --
Vending space is $10.00 (setup will start at 7:00 a.m.)
Please bring your own table(s) or rugs, setup will be outside. If
you would like shade bring a tent.
Four workshops this year!!! Join Gina, Holly, Habib and
Yasmina in a variety of workshops. Workshops are $5 each.
Also that evening there will be a show featuring
dancers from all over the State!
show time 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
$5 for show admission
doors open at 5:30 p.m..
You can get tickets at the door, day of the event or reserve your spot

The show will feature our Instructors Habib, Holly and Gina performing
with Sherry along with Banat Tabla (Yuma), Desert Menagerie (Safford), Gypsy
Chicks (Flagstaff), Hadara (Tucson), Qadesh, Anaya Tribal, Divine Chaos,
Dancers of De Nile, Sonaron Rose, Mitra, Samantha and Rukshana
The show is currently full of performers with a wait list. Thank you

this fun event.

Super
Slow and Slithery with a Twist! Full/waitlist
with Gina (Ginici) 9 - 10 a.m.
Slow-slow-quick-quick,
slow-slow-slow-quick-quick. No this is not a ballroom class but rather
sensuous and powerful belly dance combinations. Gina will teach and
break down these super slow and slithery moves into quick dynamic accents.
Really spice up your own routines with these unique combos or just come
and learn the technique and control of these compelling belly dance moves.

About the instructor:
Gina
Nicole Cinardo (Ginici) has studied many varieties of dance throughout her
life including Jazz, Modern, Ballet, African, and even Ballroom and Swing.
Over 9 years ago she consumed herself into the art of Middle Eastern dance
as well as East Indian including Bollywood, Bhangra, and some Odissi.
She’s been a member of several dance groups such as Alimah, Punjabi by
Nature, Apna Punjab, Aashiyaana Dance Company, and Boom Boom Bollywood in
which she was co-director for two years. Currently she teaches regular
belly dance or bollywood classes at the Center for True Harmony in
Mesa
and Plaza De Anaya in Tempe

with Holly 10:30 - 11:30 p.m.
Add a trendy new dimension to your dance, learn to pop-n-lock! If you already know them, it is a fabulous workout! Isolate your moves in a new way, as you create dramatic muscle contractions that accent the music. Great for belly dance and those that enjoy hip-hop.

About the
instructor:
Holly is an instructor from Sedona who teaches both technique and belly dance fitness classes throughout Northern Az. She is a member of The Gypsy Chicks, belly dance troupe and modern dance company The Art of Motion who both perform professionally. Fusing together all forms of dance she strives to have each dancer create a mind and body connection through their own dance, creating their own unique style.
A long time dream of Holly's was to create a unique magazine, one that compliments the lifestyles of Middle Eastern dancers and
beyond. Her dream has been realized. and the first issue of "Shimmy
- the Spirit of Bellydance" is available July 1st!

New Dance Combinations - Full/waitlist
with Yasmina - 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Back by popular demand all new dance combos!! These new combos will
spice up your dance. They are fused with different cultural flavors and some funk
thrown in to make them fun. Doesn't matter if you are a cabaret or
tribal dancer these new combinations will work in your dance style.
Workshop is for all levels of dancer.

About the
instructor:
Yasmina has been teaching belly dancing since 1989 and
currently teaches at the Mesa Art Center and Plaza de Anaya. She
also teaches monthly workshops at her in home studio along with teaching
workshops out of town and State. She enjoys both cabaret and tribal
style of belly dancing and often fuses the two together to create her own
style.
Yasmina was tired of the corporate
world and started Shimmy Bliss Costuming Co.
in 2004 which caters to the
tribal dancer, www.shimmybliss.com. Her labor of love website, www.joyofbellydancing.com
is known worldwide.
After her first belly dance class she was hooked on
this beautiful art form and hasn't stopped learning and dancing.
It's now her livelihood and life couldn't be better.

All workshops will be held inside and the floor is hardwood so shoes
are optional.
